    Can anyone answer a question for me. I have been training in Texas on and off for over 20 years. I have been working on my notes about Take Ori. I have seen conflicting information about omote versus ura. My best under standing right now is that taki ori bends the palm to the forearm and gyaku take ori bends the bak of the hand to the forearm. The way the hand is grabbed palm to palm makes it ura or palm to back of hand makes it omote. Can anyone confirm or correct my understanding. Thanks
